Admas UniversityCollege is now a Cisco Local Academy. As defined by
Cisco Network Academy a Local Academy is educational institutions
that teach individuals the knowledge, problem- solving abilities,
and critical thinking skills they need to pursue a career
in networking and succeed in the 21-century workplace. Each
Local Academy is responsible for providing an appropriate
environment for conducting classes, selecting competent
instructors trainees, and ensuring that is instructors receive
the training that enables them to teach the Curriculum while
maintaining the program quality standards set forth in the
QAP (Quality Assurance program).

College, Since April 2005, has been teaching students in
Cisco Networking based on the Cisco Network Academy program.
In other words, the college prepares students for CCNA Certified
examination. Being certified for Cisco Networking can be
demanded any where in the world. The college has sufficient
number of instructors who can teach that facilitates the
teaching and learning process. The University college belevies that
opening this program has a great role in producing a skilled
human power in networking. People
who need to attend Cisco networking should be college students
from IT, Computer professionals, computer-related professionals
and computer literate. Student may complete CCNA curriculum
and be certified in one-year period. The
training takes one year. That means you will be certified
at the end of the year. Students will be on class for 6
hours every week (2 evening lectures and on-line exam every
Sunday morning).Training
Fee
CCNA 4 modules costs 10,000 (Ten thousand) birr for company
sponsored students, 8,000 (eight thousand) birr for self
sponsored students. Female students will have 10% discount
for all the company and self sponsored students. Students
may pay on monthly bases or module bases (every 3 month)

Brief CCNA Certification information
The
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification indicates
a foundation in and apprentice knowledge of networking for
the small office/home office market. CCNA certified professionals
can install, configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access
services for small networks (100 nodes or fewer), including,
but not limited to, use of these protocols: IP, IGRP, IPX,
Serial, AppleTalk, Frame Relay, IP RIP, VLAN's, RIP, Ethernet,
Access Lists.
