Department of research and Publication organized a workshop on gender in educational institutions. Ato hailu, invited guest from EWLA(Ethiopian Women Lawyers Association) gave a detailed presentation on " Gender and Violence in Educational Institutions". In addition, W/t Mulunesh, a gender expert and lecturer at Admas University College also added some points and also made a brief presentation on the issue of sexual harassment with especial referene to eucational institutions.On the workshop the office of students and social affairs Dean made a great contribution by bringing many students to participate on the workshop.On the workshop, attendants especially students actively participated and discussed gender issues. Finally students expressed their satisfaction with the presentations and discussions and commented for the continuation of such events
